Happiness Is Relative by ktsimage Happiness Is Relative by ktsimage
In Mayan calendar, December 21, 2012 is the end of the world. The few remaining lives will start life under the new eyes of the world. A world where happiness is relative to the eye of the beholder.

Pet, for the eyes of the child;
Food, for the eyes of the couple;
Rescue, for the eyes of the squirrel;
Death, for the eyes of the giant metal.

I always had a soft spot for drawings, pictures, manipulations, ... with the Liberty Statue. Yours is great, I love the pose. Usually we see her with the head far from the rest and it's sad, but not on yours. I mean it is sad that is down, but she is not in pieces, you know?

Thanks for the comment and for your point of view in my work. I really had not realized how I pictured the statue. But like you said, usually in disasters, represent the statue into pieces as if it were made of clay. Thanks =)

Did you draw the water, or bring it in from a photograph?  If you drew/painted the water, it is the best work on water I have ever seen.

Well, in this condition, it isn´t the best work you have ever seen =). The water is from NY (Hudson River) when I was in tourism there. But, some details I drew to merge the boat with water. Thanks!
